Kritter Kamp Rescue is a non-profit Organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals. Most of the animals are rescued when they are in danger of being euthanized. We accept all ages from puppies to seniors.
The adoption fee covers the cost of getting our dogs spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated.
Please donate to help us save as many doggies as possible!
You can donate via PayPal
Your support means so much to us!
We work hard to make sure that we take care of all of our pets here at Kritter Kamp Rescue. Unfortunately we can't do it without people like you. Any donation is worthwhile and helps. So, if you ever feel like you want to be a part of our family and help some of the best animals around, see our WISH LIST at the bottom of our ABOUT US page.
If you are interested in adopting a dog from us, please fill out an adoption application first. Once approved, you can make an appointment to come in to meet our dogs and hopefully bring the new member of your family home with you! Due to our small staff and busy schedules, we are currently unable to offer walk-In service, so please call or email before coming!
Click the Adoption Application tab at the top of the page to complete the application. We will contact you within 24 hours after we have reviewed your application to set up an appointment. If you do not hear from us within that time frame please call us at (916) 691-1364.
I would have used my teeth in fear if not for your gentle hands.
I would have left this life believing that all humans don't care; believing there is no such thing as fur that isn't matted, skin that isn't flea bitten, good food and enough of it, warm and cozy beds to sleep on, or someone to show me I deserved to be love just because I exist.
Your kind eyes, loving smile, gentle hands and big heart saved me.....
You saved me from the terror of the pound, soothing away the memories of my old life.
You taught me what it means to be loved.
I have seen you do the same for other dogs like me.
I have heard you ask yourself in times of despair, "Why do I do this?
When there is no more money, no more room, you open your heart a little bigger, stretch the money a little tighter, make just a little more room...
I tell you with the gratitude and love that shines in my eyes.
It's the best way I know how to remind you why you go on trying.
I am the reason!!
The dogs before me are the reason, as are the ones who come after me.
Our lives would have been wasted, and our love never given.
We would have died if not for you.
We thank you for helping us find our furever homes.
Love always, Kritter Kamp Rescue Dogs
